Classic Cheese Sauce
Makes 1L approximately
Ingredients:
400ml vegetable stock
500g Barker’s Professional Cream Style Meal Base
40g Dijon mustard
sea salt
freshly milled black pepper
200g grated gruyere/smoked cheese
Method:
In a saucepan, add the vegetable stock, Barker’s Professional Cream Style Meal Base, mustard, salt and pepper.
Bring this pan to a simmer.
Whisk in the cheese until dissolved.
