Brewers Breakfast Burger

Recipe kindly supplied by Anchor Food Professionals.

Ingredients:

  • 600g ground pork

  • 1 tsp sage

  • 1 tsp thyme leaves

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar, packed

  • 1 tsp black pepper, ground course

  • 3 tbsp grill seasoning

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 8 slices bacon, fried

  • 4 eggs, fried

  • 4 tsp Barker’s Professional Brewer’s BBQ Sauce

  • 8 Belgian waffles, homemade or frozen

  • 4 slices swiss cheese

Method:

  1. Mix together ground pork and seasoning - form into four burger patties. Grill the pork burgers over medium heat, 4-6 minutes per side until the burgers are cooked through.

  2. Grill the waffles, 1 minute per side or until grill marks appear.

  3. To serve, drizzle Barker’s Professional Brewer’s BBQ Sauce evenly on four of the waffles. Top with cheese, two slice of bacon, burger, and egg. Top with another waffle.
