Spicy Burgers
Serves 10
Ingredients:
1.5kg ground prime beef (lean is good)
200g breadcrumbs
400g Barker’s Professional Tandoori Paste
100g Natural yoghurt
½ cup chopped parsley
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
Method:
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl or a mixer. Shape into 10 patties (approximately 200 grams each).
Grill the patties until done and then assemble the burgers.
Grill or toast burger buns sliced in half.
Spread with 1 tsp yoghurt mayonnaise on the base, add crunchy lettuce, sliced tomato and the grilled pattie. Top with more yoghurt mayonnaise and Barker’s Professional Mango & Peach Chutney.
YOGHURT MAYONNAISE - Mix 2 cups of fresh egg mayonnaise with 1 cup of natural yoghurt.
