White Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

Makes approximately 1 litre

  • 1 L Barker’s Professional Cream Style Meal Base

  • 460g milk

  • 55g Hot English mustard

  • 1g Freshly milled black pepper

  • 2g dried oregano

Method

  1. In a saucepan, add the Barker’s Professional Cream Style Meal Base, milk, mustard, black pepper and oregano.

  2. Bring the saucepan to a simmer, then pass the sauce through a fine sieve.

  3. This is now ready to use as a base sauce and added to your servings of pasta.
